Elise Walter

is a writer and editor based in Washington, DC. She has worked as a public affairs and communications professional with global nonprofits, think tanks, and election campaigns. Elise recently completed her MSc in Literature & Society at the University of Edinburgh; her dissertation explored the triumph of female friendship in Much Ado About Nothing, Othello, and The Winter's Tale.
