is a Doctor (Ph.D.) and Master in Histoire et Civilisations from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS, Paris). He is currently a researcher of the Universidad de Magallanes (Chile) and director of GEOPAM research network. His research at present analyses the changing European perception of habitability in the early modern period.
