In an election year, we couldn’t resist creating a quiz about Shakespeare characters running for president. This is a little like ISideWith, but for Shakespeare fans. You answer the questions, and we match you with a candidate. So, who would you vote for? Take the quiz!

It sure would not be Richard III! How about Horatio, Hamlet’s steady, pragmatic and compassionate friend? He could do well.

“Isabella from Measure to Measure is your candidate of choice. She doesn’t have any political experience, but as a nun, she brings her religious background and upstanding moral character to the election.” Um, it’s Measure for Measure.

I chose Hamlet but the survey equaled Henry V. No way. The man was a jingoistic fool who brought about the totally unnecessary death of thousands of English soldiers and the horrific slaughter of French prisoners. Just what we need for a leader. But then, Trump may be our next president. God help us all.
